Xenoprost Active in India: price, composition, how to take and honest review
Xenoprost Active from Symbiotica is a nutraceutical food supplement for adult men: a capsule of vitamins, minerals and beta-sitosterol. One box carries 20 capsules; at 2 capsules a day it finishes in 10 days. Here is the composition, what the product cannot do, and how ordering works.
- 20 capsules = 10 days
- Nutraceutical, not a medicine
- Composition on the box
Xenoprost Active is not a medicine for prostatitis
Look at the side panel of the box: «Nutritional food supplement · Not for medical use». We agree with that label and describe the product on the same basis.
What it contains
- 20 hard white capsules per box, packed as two blister strips of 10.
- Vitamins C, E, K, B1, B2, B12, folic acid; zinc, selenium, manganese, chromium and molybdenum; lycopene; and 100 mg beta-sitosterol.
- Marketed by Symbiotica under its «Nutraceutical» range.
What it is not
- It does not treat prostatitis, and it does not treat an enlarged prostate.
- Not a replacement for your urologist, nor for antibiotics your doctor has prescribed.
- Not for emergencies: fever or not being able to pass urine needs a doctor the same day.
If you already have complaints, go first to Cautions, which lists the warning signs that should take you straight to a doctor.

The pack is the same everywhere, so these buyer photos come from customers in other countries. Note the blue-white box, the two strips and the white capsules. The promotional phrases printed on the box are the company's, and we cannot confirm them.
Xenoprost Active price in India and how to order
2 capsules/day · 20 capsules = 10 days · course ≥ 1 month ≈ 3 boxes (₹7,470)
The indicative MRP shared with us is ₹2,490 per box. A box lasts 10 days, and the company suggests a course of at least one month, so plan for 3 boxes, approximately ₹7,470. The seller's executive will confirm the final amount, delivery charges and payment mode on a call before dispatch.
After you submit the form
- You enter your name and 10-digit mobile number.
- An executive from the seller calls to confirm the number of boxes, the amount and your delivery address with PIN code.
- Once you confirm, the order is shipped; the delivery time is shared on the same call.
Available at a chemist? No. You will not find it at Apollo Pharmacy, MedPlus or on 1mg. Products named «Xenoprost» do appear on marketplaces such as Amazon.in and IndiaMart, but with a different pack and formula; see Original vs copies before buying anywhere.

How to take Xenoprost Active
- Take 2 capsules once a day along with a meal.
- Swallow them whole with plain water.
- Continue daily for a minimum of 1 month, that is about 3 boxes.
- Do not exceed this dose, and do not combine it with any other multivitamin without your doctor's advice.
If a dose is missed, skip it and continue with 2 capsules the next day.
Cautions: who should not take it
Consult your doctor before use if you:
- Are on warfarin, acenocoumarol or any other blood thinner. Vitamin K (1.5 mg as declared) can reduce the effect of these medicines, and vitamin E can increase bleeding risk. Use only under medical supervision with INR monitoring.
- Have sitosterolaemia, a rare genetic disorder; beta-sitosterol is contraindicated.
- Take ezetimibe or other cholesterol medicines.
- Are on medicines for diabetes; the product contains chromium.
- Are being treated for thyroid disease or undergoing chemotherapy; selenium and high-dose antioxidants should be reviewed.
- Already take a multivitamin; do not add up zinc, selenium and vitamin K from two products.
Do not use it if you are allergic or intolerant to any ingredient. For men above 18 years; not intended for women or children.
When to see a doctor
- On the same day: fever with chills and pain in the lower abdomen or groin, along with difficulty passing urine. This can be acute bacterial prostatitis and requires antibiotics.
- Immediately: complete inability to pass urine is an emergency. Dial 112, or 108 for an ambulance.
- Blood in the urine or in semen.
- Frequent night-time urination or a poor stream continuing for several weeks.
- After 50, discuss a prostate check-up (PSA test) with your doctor.
What research says about beta-sitosterol
Among the ingredients, only beta-sitosterol has been studied for the prostate in any depth. A Cochrane systematic review combined four randomised trials with 519 men who had benign prostatic hyperplasia (a non-cancerous enlargement of the prostate). Herbal preparations with 60 to 195 mg of beta-sitosterols daily showed a moderate improvement in urinary symptom scores and flow measurements compared to placebo. The longest trial ran for 26 weeks, so long-term data is lacking.
Please note the limits. These studies were on prostate enlargement and not on prostatitis, where no benefit has been shown. Xenoprost Active as a finished product has not been tested in any published study. And its 100 mg dose is at the lower end of the studied range. We therefore do not promise any result.
- Cochrane: beta-sitosterols and urinary symptoms Evidence on prostate enlargement only; not on prostatitis, and not on this product.
- NIDDK (NIH): prostatitis US National Institutes of Health page on symptoms, causes and medical care.
Honest review of Xenoprost Active
Pros
- Composition is disclosed with quantities.
- The box has the green dot of a vegetarian product.
- Once-a-day dosing with food.
Cons
- No proof of any effect in prostatitis.
- Beta-sitosterol dose is at the lower end of studied doses.
- Lycopene quantity is missing.
- The company's description has mismatched figures (vitamins E, K, B1).
- A box lasts only 10 days; a month needs about 3 boxes, around ₹7,470.
- The box carries claims we cannot confirm.
- Single ordering channel: this form plus the seller's call.
- Same-name products with other formulas are sold online, which causes confusion.
Our view: it can be considered as a vitamin-mineral supplement by a healthy adult man after speaking to his doctor. It is not an alternative to a urologist.
Original vs copies: how to check the box
- Blue and white box with «Xenoprost Active» and the «Symbiotica · Nutraceutical» logo, plus the green vegetarian dot.
- 20 white hard capsules in two strips of 10, not 30 capsules.
- Side panel: «Nutritional food supplement · Not for medical use».
On Amazon.in and IndiaMart you may see products called «Xenoprost» with 30 capsules or a «herbal blend» of 800 mg. That is a different formula and pack from the one described here. Health supplements in India fall under FSSAI rules; we could not read an FSSAI licence number on the box we have, and we will publish it once confirmed. Avoid any listing that promises a cure.
Frequently asked questions
Does Xenoprost Active cure prostatitis?
No. It is a food supplement, not a medicine. Bacterial prostatitis needs antibiotics prescribed by a doctor; other forms also need a urologist's diagnosis.
Is the Xenoprost on Amazon or IndiaMart the same product?
Not necessarily. In India, products with this name are sold with a different composition and pack size (for example 30 capsules of a herbal blend). Ours has 20 capsules with vitamins, minerals and beta-sitosterol, as printed on the box. Compare the box before you buy.
Can I take it with my regular medicines?
Ask your doctor first if you take blood thinners, diabetes, cholesterol or thyroid medicines, or if you are on chemotherapy. Details are under Cautions.
How many boxes are needed for 1 month?
About 3. Each box has 20 capsules and the dose is 2 a day, so a box lasts 10 days. One month costs roughly ₹7,470.
Is it sold at chemists or on 1mg?
No. It is ordered through the form on this page, and the seller confirms by phone.
Is it vegetarian?
The box has the green vegetarian dot. The company has not specified the capsule shell material; we have asked for it.
When should I see a urologist?
The same day for fever with pain and difficulty in passing urine; immediately if you cannot pass urine at all. Also for blood in urine or semen, or symptoms lasting weeks. After 50, ask about a prostate check-up.
