Xenoprost Active in Nigeria: price, ingredients, dosage and reviews
Xenoprost Active is a capsule supplement from Symbiotica made for grown men, with vitamins, minerals and beta-sitosterol inside. Each pack contains 20 capsules, which at the daily dose of 2 lasts 10 days. This page explains the formula, its limits and the ordering process step by step.
- 20 capsules = 10 days
- Supplement, not a drug
- Full formula listed
Xenoprost Active is not a medicine for prostatitis
One line on the side of the pack says it plainly: «Nutritional food supplement · Not for medical use». That is how this page describes it too.
What you are buying
- 20 white hard capsules, packed in two blisters of 10.
- A blend of seven vitamins, five minerals, lycopene and 100 mg of beta-sitosterol from plants.
- A «Nutraceutical» line product made by Symbiotica in India.
What it will not do
- It does not cure or treat prostatitis, and it does not treat an enlarged prostate either.
- It cannot stand in for a urologist, or for antibiotics when your doctor prescribes them.
- It has no place in an emergency: with fever or a blocked bladder, go to hospital the same day.

Xenoprost Active price in Nigeria and ordering
2 capsules/day · 20 capsules = 10 days · course ≥ 1 month ≈ 3 packs (₦147,000)
Expect to pay about ₦49,000 per pack. Because one pack runs out after 10 days and the recommended course is at least a month, most people would need 3 packs, around ₦147,000. Before dispatch, the seller's representative confirms the exact amount, the delivery fee and the payment options with you on the phone.
Step by step
- Fill in your name and phone number below.
- A representative calls to check how many packs you want, the total and where to deliver.
- After you agree, the pack is sent out; you hear the delivery timeline during that call.
Is it at HealthPlus or MedPlus? No, Nigerian pharmacy chains do not carry it. If a seller on Instagram or in a market offers it, compare the pack with the pictures above before paying.
Xenoprost Active composition
The table shows the quantities the maker declares, word for word. We dropped the percentage column from the original description because it is based on Indian dietary norms and, for a few rows, conflicts with the stated amounts.
| Ingredient | Quantity |
|---|---|
| Beta-sitosterol | 100 mg |
| Lycopene | amount not disclosed |
| Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) | 10 mg |
| Vitamin E (D-alpha-tocopherol) | 12 mg |
| Vitamin K | 1.5 mg |
| Vitamin B1 (thiamine hydrochloride) | 8.92 mg |
| Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) | 0.4 mg |
| Vitamin B12 | 0.38 µg |
| Folic acid | 57.6 µg |
| Manganese (sulphate) | 0.612 mg |
| Zinc (sulphate) | 2.55 mg |
| Chromium (chloride) | 10 µg |
| Selenium (sodium selenate) | 8.52 µg |
| Molybdenum (sodium molybdate) | 13.7 µg |
As stated on the manufacturer's label. It is not clear whether the figures refer to one capsule or to the daily 2 capsules, and the description's percentages for vitamins E, K and B1 do not match the amounts. We have raised this with the maker and will update the table.
A sterol from plants; there is more of it than of anything else in the capsule.
A red pigment of the carotenoid family, plentiful in tomatoes. The quantity is not disclosed.
A mineral the body cannot make, added as zinc sulphate.
A trace mineral the diet must supply, here as sodium selenate.
Fat-soluble; acts as an antioxidant.
Fat-soluble and part of the clotting process, so relevant to anyone on blood thinners.
Xenoprost Active dosage
- Take 2 capsules, once daily, during breakfast, lunch or dinner.
- Swallow them whole with water; do not open the capsules.
- Continue every day for a month or more, which uses about 3 packs.
- Stick to this dose and avoid taking another multivitamin at the same time unless a doctor approves.
If you forget one day, do not take four capsules the next morning. Just return to 2.
Safety: who must avoid it
Check with a doctor before starting if:
- You are on warfarin or another anticoagulant. Vitamin K, declared at 1.5 mg, may reduce how well the drug works, while vitamin E may increase bleeding. Use it only if your doctor agrees and monitors your INR.
- You have sitosterolaemia, an uncommon inherited disorder; beta-sitosterol is not allowed.
- You take ezetimibe or other tablets for cholesterol.
- You use drugs for diabetes; this formula includes chromium.
- You are treated for a thyroid problem or receive chemotherapy; selenium and strong antioxidants need a doctor's review.
- You already use a multivitamin; taking both doubles your zinc, selenium and vitamin K.
Anyone allergic or sensitive to one of the ingredients should not take it. It is for men over 18 only, and not for women or children.
When to see a doctor
- Today: high temperature, chills, pain in the lower abdomen or around the anus, plus difficulty urinating. This may be acute bacterial prostatitis, and it needs antibiotics.
- Immediately: if no urine will come out at all, call 112, or go straight to the nearest hospital emergency unit.
- Any blood in urine or semen.
- Weeks of waking at night to urinate or a weaker flow than usual.
- Men from about 50 should ask their doctor about prostate screening (PSA).
The science behind beta-sitosterol
Beta-sitosterol is the only ingredient here with a meaningful body of research on the prostate. Cochrane reviewers analysed four randomised trials covering 519 men who had benign prostatic hyperplasia, that is, an enlarged but non-cancerous prostate. Taking 60 to 195 mg per day of beta-sitosterol plant extracts moderately improved urinary symptom scores and flow readings over placebo, in studies lasting 26 weeks at most.
Now the limits. The trials were about enlargement, not prostatitis, and no study shows benefit in an inflamed prostate. The Xenoprost Active capsule has not been tested in any published research. Its 100 mg dose is near the lowest level used in those trials. So we cannot tell you it will work for you.
- Cochrane: beta-sitosterols in prostate enlargement Covers an enlarged prostate only; Xenoprost Active itself was never studied.
- NIDDK: inflammation of the prostate A US government health institute explains prostatitis and its treatment.
Xenoprost Active: an honest review
Good points
- Amounts for each ingredient are published.
- The pack carries a green vegetarian sign.
- Just one daily dose, with a meal.
Weak points
- No evidence of any effect in prostatitis.
- The beta-sitosterol dose is on the low side of the studies.
- Lycopene is listed without an amount.
- Parts of the description are inconsistent (vitamins E, K and B1).
- One pack is gone in 10 days, so a month is about 3 packs, near ₦147,000.
- The carton makes claims nobody has checked.
- You can only order one way: by this form and the seller's call.
Bottom line: it may suit a healthy adult man looking for a vitamin and mineral supplement, after a word with his doctor. It is not a way to avoid seeing a urologist.

Supplements sold in Nigeria should be registered with NAFDAC. We could not see a NAFDAC number on the pack, and until one is confirmed we cannot show it here. Several websites mention «Xenoprost» for India and Nigeria together; some of them describe a different product. Ignore any advert promising a cure or using doctors and celebrities.
Questions people ask
Will Xenoprost Active cure my prostatitis?
No. It is a dietary supplement, not a drug. Bacterial prostatitis needs antibiotics from a doctor, and every other type needs a proper diagnosis by a urologist.
Is it safe with the drugs I already take?
Not always. Ask your doctor first if you take anticoagulants, diabetes, cholesterol or thyroid medicine, or if you are on chemotherapy. More in Safety.
How many packs for a one-month course?
3 packs. A pack has 20 capsules and you take 2 daily, so it lasts 10 days. The month costs about ₦147,000.
Can I find it in Nigerian pharmacies?
No. Orders go through the form here, and the seller rings you to confirm.
Is the Xenoprost sold on other sites the same thing?
Not necessarily. Products with a similar name appear online with a different formula and pack size. Ours is 20 capsules with vitamins, minerals and beta-sitosterol. Check the box against the photos.
Is it vegetarian?
The pack shows the green vegetarian symbol from India. We are still waiting for the maker to tell us what the capsule shell is made from.
When do I need a urologist?
Today if fever comes with pain and trouble urinating, and immediately if you cannot urinate. Also for blood in urine or semen, or night-time urination lasting weeks. From around 50, ask about screening.
